 2 days 1 night trip to Hatyai, Thailand
It was a budget trip that suitable for University students like me
Morning 5.15am, we took grab car from USM to Butterworth (around RM39 for 4 ppl)
Reached Butterworth station by 5.45am-5.50am and bought the train ticket from Butterworth to Padang Besar
The train scheduled at 6.15am and cost me RM11.40 per person
the journey tooks 1 hours 50 minutes to reach padang besar
We arrived Padang Pesar around 8.10am
However, due to our first time, we are not clear with what steps we should do
Hence, we got our train ticket to Hatyai late, and long queue for buying train tickets, passes M'sia and Thailand immigration
We spend around 3 hours there and could not get any seat for train tickets(70bahts)
So, we stand for 45minutes to be arrived at Hatyai train station and another 5 minutes to be in front of Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel
We stayed at Lee Gardens for this trip
Checked-in at 1pm and went to Mc'D to have lunch, big pasar, shops, Odean Mall and 7-eleven
7-Eleven is a must to go in Thailand
You can get Betagen drinks and plenty of fast food
Asean Bazaar, I first time visit there and I found it's not really suit me
The clothes option are 99% from Bangkok so It does not attract me
After spending 2 hours at Bazaar, we went back to Lee Gardens
Honestly, the crowd are lesser compare to CNY and New Year
Yet, it still crowded during the night time along the Lee Gardens street
The next day we have our breakfast at hotel
2pm Train ticket from Hatyai to Padang Besar
and 4.25pm from Padang Besar to Butterworth
Around 7.30pm we reached USM
Overall this trip cost me around RM350 and definitely will go for second time

Back to USM and now I'm officially a third year student

Year 3 Sem 1, less event and more and more time to stay in hostel

No meetings, no stay up late because rushing of meeting minutes

Attended all of my classes during the first week and everything goes smooth and fine

But, only one thing, my timetable is a mess

From monday 9.00am to Friday 5.00pm

I will try to spend more time with everything here (hostel, friends, lecture)

because one day I will missed all of them after I graduate

Today Penang faces heavy and terrible flood at most of the area

even my hostel entrance is closed due to soil erosion at certain area

Ended my last class of first week yayyyy :)
